Announcing the Availability of eSchoolCare!
After years of
research and development, eSchoolCare will be available for School Nurses
nationwide during the week of April 15th.
The
inspiration for eSchoolCare came from my experience with school nursing in
research and in practice. My mother was a school nurse and I practiced as a
school nurse before earning a PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Nursing.
I
now work as an assistant professor at UW’s School of Nursing and my team and I
developed eSchoolCare after researching school nurses’ need for additional
support to care for children with chronic conditions in a school setting.
We
are very pleased to announce the availability of our new, intuitively
organized, research-based and field tested resource for school nurses. In this blog, during the next few months, we will provide more information about
eSchoolCare - how it was developed, how it will help nurses in their practice
and how it will help students in the classroom.
We
are also honored to have guest school nurses contribute to our blog, to share
their experiences with eSchoolCare and in their school nursing practice. We
invite you to share and contribute to this blog and to contact us to learn more
about joining our community.
